Future Foundations UK was born out of the common experiences and insights of People of Colour working in philanthropy in the UK.

Our primary focus is to be a supportive network for those working in the UK philanthropy sector to connect, create and lead change within the space.

We are a member-led network. Individual members are free to choose how they engage with FFUK, including the freedom for their membership to be confidential. We are currently undertaking a scoping study which is supporting our membership to develop our core infrastructure such as a constitution and offer.

Our current activities are organised around the following areas:

  • Wellbeing and support for foundation staff

  • Research and advocacy into tackling racial injustice through equitable funding

  • Increasing sustained and collaborative funding to People of Colour

  • Learning and sharing best practice

Future Foundations UK is a restricted fund operating under the auspices of Prism the Gift Fund, registered charity no. 1099682
